Dr. Christopher Low was born and raised in Victoria, British Columbia. After high school, he studied Biology at the University of Victoria where he earned a Bachelor of Science. Following undergraduate studies, Christopher’s interest in the biological sciences led him initially to pursue a career in academia, where he began working in a laboratory studying prostate cancer. His time in research yielded many enjoyable years of study and the completion of a Master’s degree in Oncology from the University of British Columbia (UBC).
Yearning for more involvement in the clinic Christopher began studying dentistry and obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from UBC. Christopher spent the year following dental school completing a general practice residency training program at the Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York. There he received additional training in general dentistry and gained experience treating patients with dental and facial trauma in the emergency setting.
Outside of the dental office Christopher enjoys a diverse set of hobbies including badminton, soccer, hockey, snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking and playing guitar.
