I moved to Canada from Hong Kong when I was 5 years old. After finishing high school here, I did my undergraduate degree in Biochemistry Honours at the University of British Columbia. After completing my undergraduate degree, I decided to pursue a dental career and I obtained my Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of British Columbia.
As an oral health care provider, I am happy that I can play a role in making a positive difference in the oral health of my patients. I believe in educating my patients so that they can achieve and maintain good healthy dentition. It is important to me that I am able to deliver the best possible treatment for my patients. To achieve this, it starts with communication. What my patients tell me is extremely important. Then I make sure my patients understand and are comfortable with the treatment plan before we proceed.
The most important thing is being able to provide a beautiful, confident smile on each of my patient’s face as they leave the clinic. Knowing that I can make a positive contribution on your daily life is what gives me the energy to come to work each day.
Oral health is easy to be ignored when there is no pain, but when it gives you pain it would be the last thing you can forget.
